Cookie Policy

The one cookie we set

aura_session. It holds a signed reference to your account so you stay signed in between pages. It is HTTP-only, so page scripts cannot read it, and it expires after 30 days. Signing out clears it immediately.

It is strictly necessary: without it there is no way to stay signed in, so it is set when you sign in and not before.

Local storage

Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser under the key aura-theme. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Third parties

Stripe may set its own cookies on its hosted checkout and billing pages, under Stripe's cookie policy. That happens on Stripe's domain, not here.

Sites you publish are served as your own HTML. If you add a third-party script to one, any cookie it sets is yours to disclose.

Turning cookies off

You can block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in, so the dashboard and editor will not work, but public pages will still load.
